Ægir Organics started with a simple idea: food should actually fuel you. After too many long days powered by sugary gels and bars that tasted like packing material, we decided to make something better. Real food that works hard, tastes good, and doesn’t feel like a compromise. We don’t cut corners, stretch ingredients, or hide behind marketing claims. We just make honest food that does its job in the backcountry, on the road, or wherever “a quick trip” turns into something else.

Why Ægir

Ægir (pronounced A as in “apple", gear as in, well, “gear”) comes from Norse mythology. Ægir was the personification of the sea and creator of the snow and waves. Story goes that if you treat the ocean with care you’d earn safe passage or a full catch.

For us, it means respect nature and it’ll reward you, whether that’s untouched powder, clean waves, or that secret swimming hole you'd rather keep off the map.
